15th Century Allegorical Dress and Headdress

Inspired by allegorical paintings from the mid to late 1400s.

Outfit consists of velveteen kirtle (dress) worn underneath a gold brocade over-kirtle with short, dagged sleeves, a split skirt edged with mink fur, and trimmed with pearls, gems, and gold metal accents. A silk belt tied around the waist and a veiled headdress finish the look.
